    Geography

     

    There are 5 different regions

    Coastal Plains (AKA Tidewater): it means a flat piece of land next to the ocean. It is located next to the Piedmont region.  It stretches from Massachusetts to Florida in the USA.

    Piedmont: Piedmont means land at the foot at the mountain.  It is located between the Coastal Plain and the Appalachian Plateau regions. It stretches from New Jersey to central Alabama in the USA.

    Appalachian Plateau. It is located next to the Piedmont region.  It stretches from Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador through central Alabama in the USA.
